Description Du Poste As a Team Lead Writer on Splinter Cell Remake at Ubisoft Toronto, you will guide the writing team and oversee the quality and consistency of the game’s narrative. Working closely with Narrative Designers, the Creative Director, and the production team, you will help strengthen the established story, shape complex and compelling characters, and align narrative content with gameplay throughout production. What You’ll Do Shape the narrative, characters, dialogue, and in-game text for Splinter Cell Remake Translate the Creative Director’s vision into clear and engaging narrative content Guide the writing team and coordinate closely with Narrative Designers Plan and prioritize writing work based on production needs and project milestones Review narrative content and provide clear, constructive feedback Maintain a consistent tone and voice across missions and other narrative content Align narrative and gameplay in collaboration with Narrative Designers and the production team Support writers through mentorship, knowledge sharing, and timely project updates Resolve narrative concerns raised by members of the writing team Coordinate across project teams to support narrative consistency throughout Splinter Cell Remake and alignment with the Splinter Cell brand Qualifications What you bring to the team Bring deep scriptwriting expertise from games or another relevant narrative medium Apply strong narrative judgment to character development, dialogue, story structure, tone, and voice Guide and develop writers through clear direction, thoughtful delegation, mentorship, and constructive feedback Connect creative vision with gameplay through a strong understanding of game design principles and production processes Manage complex narrative priorities across multiple missions, milestones, and production needs Collaborate closely with writers, Narrative Designers, creative partners, and production teams Respond thoughtfully to feedback and adapt narrative work while maintaining creative consistency Draw meaningful inspiration from people, society, and the wider world What To Send Our Way Share your CV highlighting relevant skills and experiences Include writing samples or links to relevant narrative projects
