Overall duties: The overall duties of the position include, in varying proportions: a) teaching activities; b) scholarly activities demonstrated through research, literary or artistic creation, or professional activities; c) activities related to service to the university community and, d) graduate student supervision. The specific duties for this position are associated with directing the Anglophone Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) / Teacher Education Program. Collaboration with the Francophone sector of the Faculty is an important dimension of the position. Term: New replacement professor position, starting on January 1st, 2027, to June 30th, 2028 Salary: The salary scale for an Assistant Professor starts at $99,377 (as of May 1, 2025). Demonstrated ability to teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels in an interdisciplinary collaborative context. Candidates must also demonstrate the skills and openness needed to deliver courses in hybrid and online formats. Research experience in a field of the Faculty of Education. Experience in Curriculum studies is a plus. Passive knowledge of French is essential. Full French-English bilingualism is considered an asset. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Education or a related field and possess excellent program management and teaching skills. Proficiency in hybrid and online course delivery is required, along with a passive knowledge of French.
