Location: Hybrid — Toronto, ON, Canada (4 days onsite / 1-day WFH) Employment type: Contract Duration: 1.5 years, ASAP start (possible extension & conversion) Schedule: M–F, 37.5 hrs./week, core business hours Role Overview. Client is seeking a Senior Business Application Analyst and Learning Application expert to lead a diverse portfolio of Learning Application management activities within Corporate Technology. This is supporting a rare, high-impact initiative: migrating the bank to a new Learning Management System (LMS). The consultant will act as business lead and functional business specialist, providing input and executing on strategies, roadmaps, and forecasts, and managing relationships with technology and business consumers across the enterprise. The candidate will provide thought leadership, mentor teammates, and act as a brand ambassador for the bank. Key Responsibilities: Own application strategy, delivery, performance, access, data availability and integrity, data retention and disposition, remediation alignment, priorities, plans, and communication for the Learning application portfolio. Lead deployment and change management for Learning application initiatives; serve as SME on project artifacts (ideation, business case, SRS); ensure guidelines and controls protect customer information and maintain compliance with Privacy, Legal, Compliance, and the Office of the Chief Data Officer; support daily operations including incident triage/escalations, system consulting and configurations, bulk data loads, data governance, vendor management, and release management; work with business partners on process and system changes; coordinate with stakeholders on business cases emphasizing reusability, scalability, and innovation; manage risk assessments, testing, and implementation of solutions; and provide thought leadership, mentorship, and knowledge transfer within the team and business unit. Required Skillsets: 5+ years of Business Application Analyst experience (flexible down from 10+ years). Strong experience with learning technologies/applications such as Cornerstone, SumTotal, Degreed, and Workday. Strong verbal and written communication skills; strong organization and task-prioritization skills. Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills. Sound knowledge of agile methodology, business testing, and project management is expected; post-secondary education is an asset (no certifications required). Preferred Skillsets: Workday Learning experience (highly preferred) Learning technology certifications Large-corporation / enterprise-level experience Strong Agile experience.
