REGIONAL OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR Location: Quebec – Eastern Operations Warehouse JOIN WAINBEE! We are looking for a Regional Operations Supervisor to support daily warehouse, logistics, inventory, and facility-related activities for the region and its warehouse location. POSITION SUMMARY The Regional Operations Supervisor is responsible for supporting the day-to-day warehouse, logistics, inventory, and facility-related functions for the region and its warehouse site. This role ensures the smooth flow of goods and materials, accurate inventory control, and compliance with company policies and procedures. The incumbent will lead a front-line regional operations and warehouse team, coordinate shipping and receiving activities, support continuous improvement efforts, and maintain health, safety, and quality standards across warehouse operations. This role also contributes to regional growth, network standardization, and cross-site initiatives in collaboration with the national operations team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. WAREHOUSE OPERATIONS AND INVENTORY MANAGEMENT * Supervise daily shipping, receiving, picking, packing, and inventory control activities. * Ensure shipments are processed accurately and on time. * Resolve operational issues in a timely manner. * Assist with conducting and managing cycle counts. * Maintain inventory accuracy, investigate discrepancies, and report findings. * Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse space and materials. * Ensure proper handling, storage, and labelling of products. * Monitor the availability and condition of equipment, including forklifts, pallets, and packaging supplies. * Support replenishment of shop inventory and assist production teams as needed. 2. TEAM SUPERVISION * Provide guidance to warehouse staff, including scheduling, task assignment, and training. * Monitor individual and team performance. * Support employee development, engagement, and team morale. * Maintain health and safety practices. * Report incidents or hazards to the Operations Director and the HSE representative. * Participate in performance reviews. * Assist in addressing attendance, performance, or workplace conduct concerns. * Monitor employee development goals and set objectives aligned with department goals. 3. LOGISTICS SUPPORT * Coordinate carrier pickups and deliveries. * Assist with freight planning and documentation. * Facilitate internal inventory transfers between branches or departments. * Support compliance with transportation regulations and company shipping standards. 4. FACILITIES AND SAFETY OVERSIGHT * Monitor the cleanliness and safety of the warehouse and facility grounds. * Report and coordinate maintenance or repair needs, including lighting, HVAC, and general maintenance. * Assist with routine safety inspections. * Participate in the follow-up of corrective actions related to safety or facilities. 5. QUALITY AND CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT * Follow quality procedures and checklists aligned with ISO standards. * Report non-conformances. * Assist with root cause analysis. * Recommend and support the implementation of operational improvements. * Participate in creating or improving standard work instructions to increase efficiency. 6. COLLABORATION AND COMMUNICATION * Work closely with the Operations Director and cross-functional teams, including sales, purchasing, customer service, finance, and supply chain. * Provide updates on operational performance, issues, and resource needs. * Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. * Promote effective collaboration between regional and national teams. WORKING CONDITIONS PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS * Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods. * Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools. * Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 lbs. * Ability to work in a warehouse and operations environment. MENTAL REQUIREMENTS * Ability to lead, coach, and engage a front-line team. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accuracy and compliance. * Strong problem-solving skills to quickly address operational issues and implement corrective actions. * Ability to work collaboratively with peers, employees, and management. * Comfort interpreting and using operational data, including inventory, shipping metrics, and health and safety KPIs. * Ability to perform effectively in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in a bilingual environment. POSITION REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE * College diploma or equivalent experience in logistics, warehousing, operations, or supply chain. * More than 3 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations, including team supervision experience. * Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification. * Experience with inventory management systems and shipping platforms. * Knowledge of best practices in safety, warehousing, and operations. LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS * Bilingualism required: English and French.
