To learn more about who we are and how you can help bring our brand to life, visit us at www.swanvalleyco-op.crs What you’ll do: Reporting to the Produce Manager, responsibilities for this position include the following: * Be a public relations representative for the Co-op in the communities we serve. * Deliver world-class customer service that is fast, friendly and efficient. * Cut, prepare and package fruits and vegetables into various sized trays. * Maintain sections of merchandise as assigned in an effective manner. Ensure first-in, first-out rotation is always followed, and that close-dated product is reported to the Produce Manager. * Follow established procedures for trimming and preparation, washing, culling, and pricing. * Assist the Produce Manager with ordering duties and inventory control. * Perform general housekeeping duties to ensure department image and safety standards are followed. * Ensure sanitation and cleanliness standards are to Co-op specifications, including maintenance of all equipment and display cases.
