Fueling Brains Academies is looking for a nurturing, confident, and engaging Junior Preschool Lead Teacher to lead a consistent group of children aged 19 months to 3 years. At this age, every routine is a learning opportunity. From helping a child navigate big emotions and transitions to encouraging language, independence, turn-taking, and self-help skills, you’ll play an important role in building the foundations for lifelong learning. You’ll stay with the same group of children throughout their day as they move through our Left Brain, Right Brain, and Movement learning environments - creating the consistency, relationships, and sense of security young children need to thrive. If you love the toddler years, understand the importance of responsive caregiving, and are ready to lead meaningful early learning experiences, we’d love to meet you! What You’ll Do Lead your classroom cohort and create a warm, engaging, and predictable environment for children aged 19 months–3 years. Use co-regulation and positive guidance to support emotional regulation, confidence, communication, and positive peer interactions. Observe and document children's development and use those observations to support individualized learning. Build positive relationships with families and keep them connected to their child's progress, routines, and milestones. Collaborate with fellow educators, curriculum leaders, and leadership to create an inclusive and supportive classroom. Maintain a safe, organized, and licensing-compliant learning environment. What You’ll Bring Alberta Early Childhood Educator Level 2 or Level 3 Certification - Level 3 preferred. Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills. A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn, grow, and contribute to the team. Most importantly, a genuine passion for helping young children feel safe, capable, curious, and confident. WHY FUELING BRAINS? At Fueling Brains, we believe early childhood education is about more than keeping children busy - it’s about helping young minds develop the skills they’ll use for life.
