Contract Job title: Financial Consultant, Bid/RFP & Pricing Duration: 1-year contract Role status: Current opening We are hiring on behalf of our client, a leading North York based provider of water, wastewater and infrastructure solutions serving municipal, commercial and industrial customers. The organization operates in a project-driven environment where pricing, costing and financial analysis play an important role in evaluating new business opportunities and supporting profitable growth. Principal tasks and responsibilities include: · Lead financial analysis and costing for bids, RFPs and new business opportunities. · Build and maintain pricing models to evaluate project costs, margins and profitability. · Analyze labour, materials, equipment, subcontractor and other direct and indirect project costs. · Develop financial assumptions and scenarios to support pricing decisions and contract proposals. · Work closely with Operations, Sales and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, cost drivers and key assumptions. · Evaluate pricing assumptions and identify financial risks, opportunities and potential margin impacts. · Support the preparation of business cases and financial recommendations for bids and new projects. · Analyze contract terms and assess their potential financial impact on the business. · Compare expected project performance against actual results and investigate variances. · Provide financial analysis and recommendations to Finance and business leaders to support commercial decisions. · Manage multiple bids, projects and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy. · Identify opportunities to improve and streamline pricing, costing and financial analysis processes. Our client: A North York based provider of water, wastewater and infrastructure solutions serving municipal, commercial and industrial customers across Canada. The organization operates in a project-driven environment involving complex contracts, bids and RFPs where accurate costing and competitive pricing are critical to successful project delivery and profitability. Qualifications and pre-requisites: · 3+ years of experience in Finance, Financial Analysis, FP&A, Pricing, Costing or a related area. · Hands-on experience with pricing, costing, bids, RFPs or contract financial analysis. · Experience working in a project-based, construction, infrastructure, engineering, industrial or similar environment is an asset. · Strong Excel skills and experience building and working with financial models. · Strong understanding of cost structures, margins and profitability. · Experience analyzing labour, materials, equipment, subcontractor and other project costs is an asset. · Ability to develop financial assumptions and scenarios when working with incomplete information. · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail. · Comfortable working with Operations, Sales and other non-Finance stakeholders. · Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain financial analysis and recommendations. · Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and take ownership of projects from start to finish. · CPA designation is not required. We are open to candidates with strong practical experience in pricing, costing and financial analysis. Requirements

Requires at least three years of experience in finance, financial analysis, FP&A, pricing, costing, or a related field, including hands-on experience with bids, RFPs, pricing, costing, or contract financial analysis. Candidates should have strong Excel and financial modeling skills, understand project cost structures and profitability, and be able to communicate clearly and manage competing priorities; a CPA is not required.
