Litigation Law Clerk

Salary: Up to $65K (Based on Experience)
Key Responsibilities
Review pleadings and litigation correspondence. Prepare draft Discovery Plans, litigation documents, and supporting materials. Draft and assemble Notices of Motion, Motion Records, Affidavits, and related court documents. Prepare settlement documentation and file materials. Organize evidence/exhibits and compile filing-ready court packages. Communicate professionally with clients and other law offices (updates, follow-ups, scheduling, document coordination). Assist with appeals/arbitration tasks as needed. Optional exposure: Assist with corporate/commercial tasks as needed (e.g., basic incorporations/annual filings, resolutions, minute book organization, general commercial documentation support).
Qualifications
2+ years of practical experience as a litigation law clerk / litigation assistant (Ontario) or corporate commercial law clerk- who is willing to learn litigation. CaseLines proficiency is required. Strong organization and attention to detail; ability to meet deadlines. Excellent client communication skills (clear, professional, responsive). Strong work ethic, punctuality, and dependability; openness to learning.
