Slave Lake - Diamond Willow Campground and Learning Centre (1 position)

Qualifications:

• Must be commencing or continuing secondary or post-secondary full-time studies in the Fall of 2026
• Must be available for full-time summer employment
• A clean vulnerable sector criminal record check prior to commencement
• A valid Class 5 driver’s license

Job Description

Title: Summer Student Groundskeeper

Department: Facilities and Ancillary Services

Nature and Scope of Work:

Reporting to the Manager, Facilities and Operations, this position is responsible for groundskeeping.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Grass cutting with both push and ride lawn mowers
• Trimming trees, shrubs, and garden planting
• Cleaning debris from grounds
• Assisting staff members with other duties as required

Skills/Knowledge:

• Repetitive lifting up to 50lbs
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and with others
• Ability to pay attention to detail to ensure accuracy
• Good oral and written communication skills
