Fonction & Tâches Sous la supervision du gérant de la résidence, l’animateur de résidence doit: veiller à l’organisation, à l’animation, à l’orientation et à la sécurité des étudiants qui habitent la résidence. EN GÉNÉRAL, CE POSTE COMPREND LES RESPONSABILITÉS SUIVANTES: Aider les élèves à faire leurs devoirs en soirée; Organiser des activités pour les élèves et y participer; Veiller à la sécurité et au bien-être des élèves; Toutes autres tâches jugées pertinentes par son supérieur. Qualifications Baccalauréat en orientation, en animation, en récréologie ou en travail social et expérience pertinente. La Commission scolaire peut à son gré ne pas tenir compte des qualifications précitées si elle juge adéquate la candidature d’une ou d’un bénéficiaire de la Convention de la Baie James et du Nord québécois (CBJNQ) et que la personne accepte de suivre un programme de formation déterminé par la Commission. Exigences Maîtrise d’au moins deux (2) des trois (3) langues de travail de la Commission scolaire (inuktitut, français ou anglais); Connaissance de la culture, des traditions et de l’histoire des Inuits (comme atout); Capacité de travailler tant en équipe que de façon autonome; Solides compétences en matière de relations interpersonnelles, avec une excellente capacité d’organisation; Capacité de mener plusieurs tâches à la fois, d’établir des priorités et de résoudre des problèmes; Expérience en animation de groupes; Horaire De Travail 35 heures par semaine (flexibilité requise) Classification / Salaire / Avantages Sociaux Conformément à la convention collective du SPPENOM pour les professionnels. Ce poste appartient au corps d’emploi 2107 : de 54 862$ à 91 023$ par année, selon l’expérience et les qualifications. Tous les avantages sociaux sont accordés au prorata de la tâche.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in guidance, recreation leadership, recreation studies, or social work, along with relevant experience, is required; an alternative training pathway may be considered for an eligible beneficiary of the James Bay and Northern Quebec Agreement. Applicants must be proficient in at least two of Inuktitut, French, and English, and have group facilitation experience, strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and the ability to multitask, prioritize, solve problems, and work independently or as part of a team.
