Our client is seeking a Vice President of Engineering to lead the engineering function and establish the technical direction needed to support continued growth. This senior leadership role oversees engineering strategy, product development, project execution, technical standards, compliance, and team development while partnering closely with operations, manufacturing, and commercial teams. The ideal candidate will bring deep engineering expertise within the energy sector, proven leadership experience, and the ability to translate business and customer needs into practical technical solutions. Your Success Will Be Defined By Your Ability To Define and execute the engineering strategy and long-term technical roadmap Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams across product development, project execution, design, and field support Ensure engineering projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to established quality requirements Establish engineering standards, design controls, documentation practices, and project delivery frameworks Provide senior technical guidance on equipment selection, project scoping, site design, and customer solutions Oversee certification and regulatory requirements, including applicable Canadian and industry standards Partner with Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, HSE, and commercial teams to improve performance and manage technical risk Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to support innovation and future growth Develop engineering talent, organizational structure, and succession plans to support a growing business Provide technical input into proposals, feasibility assessments, product positioning, and customer discussions Your strengths include: 15+ years of progressive engineering experience, including leadership of multidisciplinary teams and complex equipment or product programs Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline Active Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Canada, with Alberta registration preferred Strong technical background in natural gas, pressure regulation, gas systems, packaged equipment, industrial equipment, or a closely related field Proven ability to set engineering strategy and successfully deliver complex projects and products Knowledge of ABSA, CSA, ASME, and other applicable engineering standards considered a strong asset Experience leading engineering organizations through growth, transformation, or organizational change Strong executive communication, decision-making, and cross-functional leadership skills Ability to work remotely within Canada and travel approximately 30% as required If you are interested in this role and meet the above criteria, please click the "Apply" button to send your resume directly Chris Feng, Jason Dick or Bobi-Jo Warner. Candidates should have strong energy-sector or related equipment expertise, experience delivering complex projects and leading engineering organizations, and the ability to work remotely within Canada and travel approximately 30%.
