Avanciers is a premier IT Staffing/Consulting organization and we are currently recruiting for a contract role for one of our premier client in Canada for Intermediate IT Security Risk Management Specialist. This is a Hybrid role and client is actively hiring for this position. Role: Intermediate IT Security Risk Management Specialist Duration: 12+ months Location: Ottawa, ON (Hybrid) Pay Rate: $70/hr-$80/hr (Depending upon experience) Clearance: Secret or Top Secret Required Key Requirements Education & Experience: Bachelor s degree/diploma, or at least 7 years of progressive experience in IT Security or Cybersecurity. Certifications: Active credential in good standing (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CCSP, CEH, or equivalent). Government Context: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience applying Government of Canada (GoC) ITSG security policies and guidelines. Risk Management: Minimum 3 years of proven experience delivering IT security risk management advice and strategic guidance. Requirements

Requires a bachelor's degree or diploma, or at least seven years of progressive IT security or cybersecurity experience, along with an active relevant certification. Candidates must also have at least three years of hands-on experience applying Government of Canada ITSG policies and at least three years delivering IT security risk management advice and strategic guidance.
