Summary Do you like to cook North American food? Our senior and disabled clients look forward to a hot nutritious lunch once a week and we need help! Location In-Person London, Ontario When Opportunity Type Ongoing - Start Anytime Schedule Immediately About This Opportunity A morning or afternoon social group/event that promotes health and wellness, social interaction and often includes sharing a meal together. Volunteers help plan, grocery shop, cook, serve a meal, set up/clean up and encourage conversation. For this role, we are looking for volunteers who have experience working in a kitchen and who have their Safe Food Handler's Certificate, or the equivalent in experience. Must be friendly, outgoing and non- judgmental. Must attend a training session and submit a Vulnerable Sector Police Check. Requirements

Applicants should have kitchen work experience and a Safe Food Handler's Certificate or equivalent experience, and be friendly, outgoing, and non-judgmental. Volunteers must attend a training session, submit a Vulnerable Sector Police Check, be over the age of majority, and be comfortable commuting to the location.
